​Senior Lecturer
Dr. Kelly Marnewick a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Nature Conservation at the Tshwane University of Technology in Pretoria, South Africa.  She has wide experience in large carnivore conservation including surveys, reintroductions, wildlife trade, human-carnivore conflict and conservation planning and policy. Of particular interest is the controversial captive lion industry in South Africa.  She is a member of the IUCN Cat Specialist Group, President of the Southern African Wildlife Management Association and served on a High Level Panel Advising the Minister of Environment on management of lions, leopard, rhinoceros & elephant.
